This FREE workshop will highlight rearing methods of the black solider fly applicable to everyone from backyard hobbyists to the scale of industrialized production. Participants will learn how to recognize wild populations of black soldier flies, how to source them for your own use, how to keep a successful breeding colony, harvesting methods, feed uses, and troubleshooting recommendations for common problems.
